
Tickets on Sale for Invermere Pre-Season Classic

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced on Tuesday that tickets are now on sale for the Invermere Pre-season Classic presented by Kootenay Insurance Services and Kootenay Savings Credit Union.
The game will feature two Central Division rivals: the Kootenay ICE and Calgary Hitmen. The game is scheduled to take place at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena on Friday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. MT.
This will be a great chance for hockey fans in Invermere to witness the exciting young and veteran talent on both rosters as the ICE and Hitmen prepare for the start of the 2018-19 regular season.
There is a two-day pre-sale window, from Tuesday, August 21 to Wednesday, August 22, where Kootenay ICE 2018-19 season seat holders and select groups can purchase tickets. An email containing pre-sale information has been distributed to those who have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public.
A limited number of tickets are being made available for the game. Tickets are $10.00 (taxes are included) and will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 23.

Note: Only cash will be accepted at Inside Edge Boutique + Sports, Konig Meat & Sausage Company and Lambert Kipp Pharmacy. Cash, debit, credit and cheque will be accepted at the ICE Gear Store.
For those individuals paying with a cheque, please make it payable to the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club Ltd.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds from all ticket sales will go towards the ICE Education Fund, which helps support ICE players' post-secondary education.
In addition, 100 percent of the net proceeds from the 50/50 will go towards the Columbia Valley Rockies organization.
ICE PLAYERS SKATING WITH LOCAL GROUPS
On September 14, while the Kootenay ICE are in Invermere, ICE players will skate with local kids from Canskate and the Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association.
Jake Heisinger, Director, Scouting and Hockey Operations, will lead all players through a fun skill session.
The skate will take place at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena.
ICE, ROCKIES CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP
The Kootenay ICE are pleased to announce that its partnership with the Columbia Valley Rockies will continue for the 2018-19 hockey season.
During the summer of 2017, the ICE partnered with the Rockies to provide discounted tickets for both fanbases. The partnership included a 15% discount on individual game tickets for both season ticket bases.
