Detroit Hitmen News Release


The Detroit Hitmen are pleased to announce that tickets prices are now available. The prices include season tickets, single games, and an 11 game flex package. The ticket prices have been set to follow the philosophy of the Hitmen ownership. "There has been a lot of thought and calculations when determining what the ticket prices would be for the Hitmen," said Matt Wiedenhoeft. He also stated, "A key to any team's success is the fans' support. In order to achieve a quality organization, we want everyone to be able to attend each game. We want to have the loudest barn in the league, and make it a tough place for the others to come and play."

"The price to take a family of four to the movies costs around $40, and that is just for tickets. We considered this when we came up with our prices," acknowledged Wiedenhoeft. He concluded with, "I have a wife and two kids and considered what I would spend for my family to go out. I feel that the ticket prices we set are affordable for every individual and family in the area."

The season ticket package and the 11 game flex package are broken into two payments. Deposits on these ticket packages are due by September 10, 2009. The remaining balance will be due on October 10, 2009. Single game tickets will go on sale on August 15, 2009. The Detroit Hitmen open up training camp on October 12, 2009 in Fraser, MI at the Great Lakes Sport City. This will be the inaugural season for the Detroit Hitmen, a member club of the All-American Hockey League. Join the Detroit Hitmen whack the competition.
