Medicine Hat Tigers News Release

Medicine Hat, AB -- The Medicine Hat Tigers now have an opponent for the second round of the 2015 WHL Playoffs. The Calgary Hitmen disposed of the Kootenay Ice easily on Monday night in a 6-2 in Game 7 of their opening series.

Game 1 will take play IN MEDICINE HAT on Friday night. Even though the Tigers were a lower seed than the Hitmen, the Scotiabank Saddledome has a jammed packed weekend coming up with the Calgary Flames, Roughnecks and a large country music concert and the only way to make Game 1 work was a date in the Hat to kick off the series.

Game's 2 and 3 will shift back to Calgary on Sunday and Monday, when the Saddledome is available to be used. Game 4 will take place on Wednesday back in Medicine Hat in a unusual and rare 1-2-1 format.

The remainder of the schedule including Game's 5, 6 and 7 have not yet been determined because of the Calgary Flames' pending playoff schedule which takes priority within the Saddledome.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS HAVE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY TO PICK UP THEIR SEATS 9AM - 7PM

PUBLIC SALES WILL COMMENCE ON THURSDAY STARTING AT 9AM!
