Rockford RiverHawks News Release
LOVES PARK, Ill. - This week is the last chance for renewing ticket buyers at RiverHawks Stadium to avoid the price increase.
Ticket prices for 2007 Rockford RiverHawks games have been increased, effective immediately, for all new purchases. The deadline to renew ticket plans at 2006 prices is this Friday.
With the increase in the schedule from 48 to 51 home games, prices for 2007 season tickets start at $484 for infield-box seats. Home-plate box seats will increase to $563 and premium-box seats to $689. This guarantees the same great seat for all 51 home games. In addition, full season-ticket holders receive a free ticket to FanFest 2007 for each season ticket purchased, VIP access to former Cubs great Lee Smith at the event, as well as admission to the exclusive season-ticket holders' preseason picnic.
The deadline to renew tickets for the same location was Nov. 15, so late ticket renewals are no longer guaranteed the same location as in 2006, because of the high demand for premium locations. However, renewals will receive 2006 pricing until the close of business on Friday.
The RiverHawks are the Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007. Advertising, season-ticket and suite information is available by calling the box office at (815) 885-2255. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
