Brevard County Manatees News Release

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The final game of the Brevard County Manatees' four-game series with the Charlotte Stone Crabs was cancelled on Thursday night, due to inclement weather at Charlotte Sports Park. The game will not be made up.

The teams endured a two-hour delay before finally beginning and the score was 0-0 with one out in the bottom of the fourth before the game was delayed again and eventually cancelled.

Manatees (19-26) starting pitcher Brandon Williamson allowed one hit and struck out one in 3 1/3 innings. Brevard did not record a hit in their four innings at the plate.

Brevard County will continue their road trip with a three-game set against the North division leading Dunedin Blue Jays (30-17) that will begin on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.

Andy Moye (1-0, 1.80) will make his second start for the Manatees. In his 'Tees debut, Moye allowed one earned run in five innings, while striking out four against Fort Myers this past Sunday.

The Blue Jays will counter with Casey Lawrence (3-0, 3.44). Brevard is just 1-5 against Dunedin so far in 2012.
