New York 66, TORONTO 65 OT (7,312)
TORONTO (AP) â AARON GARCIA threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to MIKE FURREY in overtime as the New York Dragons beat the Toronto Phantoms 66-65 on Thursday night in the Arena Football League.
After CLAY RUSH added the extra point, Toronto pulled within one on PAT O'HARA's 35-yard touchdown pass to DAMIAN HARRELL, but O'Hara failed to connect with LUKE LEVERSON on a two-point conversion attempt.
Garcia was 25-for-45 for 319 yards and eight touchdowns. Furrey had 10 receptions for 152 yards and four touchdowns, and STEVE PAPIN caught eight passes for 89 yards and three touchdowns.
New York improved to 3-11, and Toronto fell to 5-9 to drop out of playoff contention. The Phantoms have lost five straight home games.

ARIZONA
July 22 -- Rattlers lineman CHARLIE MORRIS will visit day campers at Mesa Parks & Recreation Center in Mesa, Ariz., a camp held every summer for mentally and physically challenged children and teenagers in the East Valley for more than 20 years.
CAROLINA
July 20 â Carolina's dance team â the Snake Charmers -- will take part in the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters 'Blazing Wheels Rally,' a motorcycle ride to benefit the organization. Nine out of 10 firefighters in North Carolina are volunteers. This raises money for the families of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
CHICAGO
July 19 -- Members of the Chicago Rush Front office will welcome the PUSH America bicycle team to the Tribune Plaza in downtown Chicago. This team of 36 riders are bicycling from San Francisco, Calif. to Washington D.C. this summer, with a brief stop in Chicago. They are raising money for PUSH America, an organization for youths with disabilities. The PUSH America team will participate in the coin toss this Saturday at Allstate Arena when the Rush host the Indiana Firebirds.
DETROIT
July 22 â Fury lineman ERIC ENGLAND will host a pizza party for four youth organizations that he donated game tickets to during the 2002 season. Inside Sony Theatre at the Palace of Auburn Hills, England will speak with kids about pursuing their dreams and working hard to reach their goals.
INDIANA
July 20 -- The Firebirds dance team â the Fabulous Flames â will perform and speak to the participants of the Footloose Summer Camp, dedicated to kids who are focused on music and dance. The camp is supported by Indianapolis Parks Summer Programs.
July 22 â Indiana team mascot SPIKE will attend the Peace Games Pep Rally with the Firebirds promotional team, âBirds Brigade.'
