
ThunderBolts to hold dance team/cheerleading auditions

LAKELAND, Fla. â The Lakeland Thunderbolts of the National Indoor Football League have teamed up with Dance Connection Studio & School and will be holding auditions for their Dance Team/Cheerleading Squad on Saturday, November 20th at the Chain-O-Lakes Complex in Winter Haven, FL from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Cost to participate is $40 for pre-registration and $50 for same day registration. Females should wear two-piece dance attire (top: dance/athletic bra top; bottom: hot pants (short, fitted shorts), skin tone hose, and dance/jazz shoes. Hair should be worn down (no up do's) in a style that compliments your features. Make sure that your hair does not hide your face. Males should wear a tank top, long pants (no jeans), and jazz or athletic shoes.
There will be a prep class offered (helpful, but not mandatory) at the Dance Connection Studio & School at 318 W. Central Ave. in Winter Haven, FL. Cost for the class is $20 and for more information, please contact Dance Connection at 863-299-8834.
Also announced today is the date for the next Lakeland Thunderbolt football tryouts. The tryouts are scheduled to be held on December 4th beginning at 8:00am in Wellington, Florida. Contact Sean Benevides at (561)-792-1551 for more information.
