ThunderBolts Fall to Osceola

OSCEOLA-The Lakeland ThunderBolts took a 26-24 lead into the fourth quarter Saturday night but could not score in the final period and fell to Osceola, 34-26, in division game at Osceola.

Osceola, 8-5, clinched a berth in the NIFL playoffs with the win. Lakeland, now 11-2 has already earned a playoff berth. The playoffs begin July 8th.

Mario Robbins and Don Robinson each scored two touchdowns for the ThunderBolts, but they were plagued by missed extra points and missed field goals.

The ThunderBolts play their final regular season game at home June 24 at the Lakeland Center. It will be Fan Appreciation Night with several prizes to be given away at half time.

The ThunderBolts are at home again June 24 vs. Osceola. Kick off is at 7pm at the Lakeland Center.
