Thunderbirds Sign Skye Sunday to One-Year Contract

HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed forward Skye Sunday to a one-year contract.
"Skye is a speedy transition player who can play offence too. He has a nose for the net and likes to get to the middle of the floor. He has a good outside shot and can score from inside," Thunderbirds Player Analyst Jamie Batley said of the signing.
Sunday, 26, played this summer with his hometown Bucks of the TNSLL, putting up 15 goals and 23 points in 10 regular-season appearances to go along with 16 points in six playoff games.
The Akwesasne product also played his entire junior career for his hometown team. Across 63 career games, he had 102 goals and 183 points.
