DOES THIS GAME MEAN ANYTHING? Well, there is the chance at finishing .500. Then there's the $50 win bonus for the players if we score more points then them. And we could throw some serious monkey wrenches in the post-season picture since Rome would lose home-field advantage if we beat them and Richmond beats the CV Vipers. The Bandits need our help for this, and they already got some help from the officials when they beat us in OT. Yeah, I'm still bitter.
LISTEN TO THE WEB CAST: Tune in on your computer monitor for a unique presentation of football. The Thunder's radio booth is on field-level, so we're be able to interview coaches and players during the game. And the background noise should be quite unusual.
ABOUT BOB: The Thunder will wear special helmet decals to honor Director of Technology Bob Schmitt, who died a week ago in a motorcycle accident.
EXTRA POINTS: Rome won the first meeting 48-42 ... Bailey has a chance to win the league's all-purpose yards title ... OL Tommy Moody will miss the finale due to a leg injury.
