DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Brad Lee's 7-yard run with 51 seconds remaining and a Nick Allison interception 31 seconds later lifted the Daytona Beach Thunder to a 58-52 overtime victory over the Florence Phantoms before 2,472 at PBS 15 Field at the Ocean Center Thursday night.
It was the second overtime game in the American Indoor Football League this season.
The Thunder (2-3) tied the game at 52-52 on Oscar Davenport's 22-yard touchdown to Allen Suber with 49 seconds in regulation, then the Thunder defense held to force a five-minute overtime period.
