Daytona Beach Thunder News Release
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Shoppers at the Daytona Flea and Farmer's Market can now get the latest Daytona Beach Thunder merchandise and even tickets at the team's booth every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Operated by Chad Fetty, a member of the Thunder sales staff, the booth features t-shirts, hats, license plates, pennants and much more.
"A lot of people shop at the Flea Market, so this is a terrific opportunity for more visibility,'' Fetty said.
Thunder players and lightning dancers will be on hand to sign autographs and greet the fans. Starting next week, the dance will be selling autographed copies of their inaugural swimsuit calendar.
The booth is located in the "P-2" aisle.
Operating since 1981, the Daytona Flea and Farmer's Market is visited by 2.2 million visitors annually and features 1,000 covered booths and 150 outside spaces across 185,000 square feet. Admission and parking are free.
Merchandise is also available on the Thunder's webstore located at http://www.dbthunderstore.com, at Thunder home games in the Ocean Center and five Daytona Beach locations -- Coach's Sports Bar, Whistle Junction Buffet, Sun Master's Tanning Salon, Mango's, and My Cousin Vinnie's Pizzeria.
