Thunder Kicker Tryout Set For Tuesday

BOARDMAN, OH. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder will be holding an open tryout for all kickers next Tuesday February 26th at the Chevrolet Centre (229 East Front Street. Youngstown, OH 44503). Registration for all interested kickers will begin at 12:00 pm. The tryout, held under the direction of Thunder Head Coach Mike Hold will begin promptly at 1:00pm.
A non-refundable registration fee of $30.00 is required if you pre-register by phone (330.758.4232). If choose not to pre-register, a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is required on the day of the tryout. No personal checks or credit cards will be accepted, CASH ONLY. All kickers are required to bring athletic clothing and shoes suitable for an indoor playing surface. Kickers will be tested on kickoffs, and extra points with a cut-down period to follow. After the cut-down, the remaining kickers will be tested on field goals. The tryout will be open to the public and all media outlets. Thunder merchandise and season ticket packages will be made available through Thunder representatives on hand.
The Mahoning Valley Thunder opens the season at home Saturday March 29th on Cortland Banks Field inside the Chevrolet Centre. Be a part of all the action in 2008 as the Thunder continues their climb towards the ArenaCup9 Championship. Season ticket prices start as low as $96 and are on sale now.
