Thunder finalizes playoff roster

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder completed their 20-man playoff roster today, adding amateur forward Tim Earl.

Earl joins the Thunder from Cortland State University in New York, where he compiled 46 goals and 98 points in 93 games. A 23-year-old native of Troy, New York, Earl led Cortland State in scoring the past two seasons. He recently finished his senior season, compiling career-highs for both goals (17) and points (34).

Yesterday, the Thunder added left wing Garrett Larson out of Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. Larson just completed his senior season at Sacred Heart, where he led the team with 23 assists and finished second with 11 goals and 34 points. Larson finished his college career as Sacred Heart's all-time leader in penalty minutes, with 235. He also ranks third in school history with 55 goals and 125 points.

The Thunder will open their best-of-seven first round playoff series versus the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Thursday and Friday, March 24th and 25th in Bossier City, Louisiana. The Thunder will host their first playoff game on Saturday, March 26th. Below is the complete first round schedule:

The Thunder still have seats remaining on the fan bus to games one and two in Bossier City. The cost of the trip is $120 per person plus $45 for a hotel room. The bus will leave from the Ice Sports Wichita parking lot at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24th and return to Wichita following the game on Friday, March 25th.
