PORT HURON, Mich. - The season came to an end for the Bloomington PrairieThunder with a 4-1 loss to Port Huron in International Hockey League action Sunday at McMorran Arena.
The PrairieThunder finished the season with a 31-34-5-6 record (73 points) and tied with Flint for fourth in the regular season standings. Flint earned the playoff spot over Bloomington with more overall wins.
Jon Booras scored Bloomington's only goal on an unassisted effort in the third period. Andrew Martin took the loss in net for Bloomington, stopping 24 of 27 shots. The PrairieThunder outshot the IceHawks, 40-28.
