
Thunder Dance Team Tryouts Announced

PORTLAND, OR - Yes, the Portland Thunder will have a dance team. Dance Team Director Michelle Burch is looking for a few good women to make the roster on Sunday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. in the Moda Center.
Dancers should bring:
Their completed and signed application and waiver forms. A current head shot photo as well as full body photo of yourself (at least 4x6; does not need to be professional but must be clear and contain only the audition participant). Photos are used for identification purposes and will not be returned. $10 registration fee (cash only). Snacks, water, make-up or hair products for touch ups. Please note that there is no extended lunch break.
Auditions will be closed and spectators will not be allowed in the building. Score sheets and judges' comments will not be made available. Dancers will learn an across the floor combination and atleast one routine. Dancers should also be prepared to perform a 30 second solo combination to a mix of Timber by Ke$ha.
Dancers who are interested in trying out should email Burch to request the registration form and waiver prior to the event at michelle.burch@trailblazers.com.
The Portland Thunder will kick off its inaugural season at the Moda Center on Monday, March 17th when they take on the San Jose SaberCats. Season tickets are available for purchase starting as low as $99 by calling 503-773-4AFL or by visiting www.portlandthunder.com.
