MEDFORD, OR - The Medford Rogues are proud to announce the selection of three team members to the 2013 West Coast League All-Star Team. First baseman Kevin Davidson and pitchers Bret DeRooy and Justin Jacome were named to the WCL South Division team and will represent the Rogues' inaugural season team. (stats below reflect games through July 14)

Kevin Davidson:

Davidson, a sophomore from UC Riverside, is in his second year in the WCL after playing for Klamath Falls in 2012. Davidson is hitting .375 with four home runs and 23 RBI through 21 games and 80 at-bats. He is fifth in the WCL in batting average, tied for second in home runs and second in runs batted in.

Bret DeRooy:

DeRooy, a junior from Campbellsville (KY) University, is 1-2 with a 4.32 ERA and is second in the WCL with 37 strikeouts.

Justin Jacome:

Jacome, a freshman from UC Santa Barbara, burst onto the WCL scene after a late reporting date. Through four games (three starts), Jacome is 1-1 with an 0.87 ERA through 20 2/3 innings, with 20 strikeouts and no walks.

"It's very hard for an expansion team to break through when it comes to All-Star recognition, and we're very proud of our guys for earning this honor," Rogues General Manager Chuck Heeman said. "It says a lot for the quality of players in both Medford and Victoria that both teams had multiple players named to the squad. We look forward to being in Victoria next week and having our guys represent Medford proudly."

The 2013 All-Star Game will be played July 23 at 7 p.m. in Victoria, B.C.
