
Four Gems Head to Victoria for All-Star Game

Klamath Falls, Oregon: Monday, July 15, 2013: Four Klamath Falls Gems have been named to the 2013 West Coast League All-Star Team. The four players are OF Nick Fisher, OF Cody Hough, LHP Brandon Horth, and LHP Nick Sabo.
Fisher, from Lake Oswego, OR is going to be a Junior at Linfield College. He is currently batting .275 with 25 hits, 12 RBI's, 3 Hr's, and 3 Stolen Bases.
Hough, from Corona, CA is going to be a Senior at UC Riverside. He is currently batting .377 with 20 hits, 17 RBI's, and tied for the league lead in HR's with 5.
Horth, from Irvine, CA is going to be a Junior at Loyola Marymount University. He is currently 3-1 with a league leading 0.87 ERA and has 35 K's.
Sabo, from Spring Valley, CA is going to be a Junior at Long Beach St. He is currently 4-1, with an ERA of 2.74 and leading the league with 39 K's.
"We are excited to have four All-Stars named to the 2013 All-Star Game in Victoria," said General Manager Grant Wilson. "It is not often when you have three players leading the league in the six major categories," added Wilson.

The Klamath Falls Gems are members of the West Coast League, the Diamond Standard among summer college baseball. The eleven-team, professional style wood-bat league features pro prospects from major conferences across the country.
