Three Everett Prospects Named CSSHL All-Stars

EVERETT, Wash. - Three Everett Silvertips prospects have been named Canadian Sport School Hockey League All-Stars for the Prairie Division. Defenseman Brek Liske was named a Second-Team All-Star at the U15 level, while forward Remy Hlady earned First-Team honors at the U16 level and forward Lukas Kaplan was deemed a First-Team All-Star at the U17 level.

Liske, an '08-born Beausejour, MB native, was selected 10th-overall in last week's WHL Draft out of Northern Alberta Xtreme. He recorded 10 goals with 24 assists in 26 games played in the regular season, while also adding 11 points in five postseason games en route to a CSSHL U15 championship title.

Hlady, an '07-born Tyndall, MB native, logged 27 goals and 29 assists in 35 games played for Rink Hockey Academy Winnipeg's squad. He also posted a goal and two assists in five postseason games, helping RHA Winnipeg to the U16 league championship. Hlady was selected in the eighth round of the 2022 WHL Draft with the 155th-overall pick.

Kaplan, an '07-born Spruce Grove, AB native, recorded 23 goals and 35 assists in 25 games played in the regular season, leading the league with a 2.33 points-per-game average. He also contributed two goals and seven assists in five playoff games leading the Northern Alberta Xtreme to the U17 league title. Kaplan, a sixth-round pick in the 2022 WHL Draft, signed his Standard Player Agreement with the Everett Silvertips on Nov. 26, 2022, appearing in four regular season WHL games in 2022-23.

It is the first CSSHL All-Star nod for each respective player.
