
Thomas Named ADT af2 Defensive Player of the Week

(North Little Rock, AR) - Arkansas Twisters defensive back Pierre Thomas is the ADT Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the af2 league office for week 12. Thomas helped lead Arkansas to a win over Oklahoma City in a battle of two Central Division teams tied for second.
The former Missouri Western standout finished with a game high 12.0 total tackles, one pass breakup, and an interception that was returned 10 yards. The interception was Thomas' eighth of the season which ties him for second most in the af2.
The award marks the second time this season a Twisters player has earn a league weekly award. Kevin Williams earned af2 Ironman of the Week back in week five.
The Twisters are 7-3 on the season, their best record through 10 games in team history.
Arkansas heads to the Pacific Northwest to play Everett in Washington State at 9:30pm central time.
