Upcoming Games:

The Steamers will be back in action on Sunday, January 2nd of the New Year. The game time has been moved from 1:05 pm to 6:05 pm. They will once again face the Baltimore Blast. The Steamers are 1-2 vs the Blast this season losing, two games in overtime.

Friday, January 7th, the Steamers will travel to Milwaukee to face the first place Wave. The Steamers lost 3-2 in Milwaukee the last time the teams battled. Both games will be broadcasted on KFNS 590 with Tony Hubert and Rick Wallace.

Schedule Change:

The game scheduled for January 23rd will be played on Friday, January 21st at 7:35 pm at Savvis Center. The St. Louis Steamers players and staff apologize for any inconvenience.

Current Appearances:

This weekend Steamers players and staff were at Wehrenberg Theatre in O'Fallon, IL. The Steamers were there to sign autographs and pass out information about the Steamers.

Later in the week the Steamers visited Wohlwend Elementary School and made a presentation on drug abuse. Steamers players Brett Phillips and Sterling Wescott talked to the students about drug abuse and also performed soccer demonstrations.

Steamers players Daryl Doran and Matt Caution were featured on Fox 2 to talk about the edgy advertising by owner Michael Hetelson and the success of the team this season.

Upcoming Appearances:

Monday, December 27th the St. Louis Steamers will attend the Rams tailgate party on Broadway next to the Hampton Inn.

On Tuesday the 28th the Steamers will be at Wehrenberg Theatres in St. Charles and Thursday the 30th will be at Wehrenberg Theatres in DesPeres. They will be meeting with and signing autographs for fans.

The Steamers players will be making local Holiday Soccer Tournament appearances for all the younger soccer fans at the following locations:

Jamestown Sports Complex in Florissant, MO on Dec 28th

The Field in Pacific, MO on Dec 29th

Dellwood Rec Center in Dellwood, MO on Dec 30th

The Game in Glen Carbon, IL on Dec 31st

Every Wednesday until the end of the season the Steamers players will be at Syberg's on Dorsett and Helen Fitzgeralds on Lindbergh. Come out and join the party with the Steamers players!

The St. Louis Steamers have partnered with Tobacco Free Missouri in effort to reach out to the youth of St. Louis. The players will make weekly appearances at schools all over the city to educate kids about the dangers of tobacco use. If your school is interested, please call the Steamers at 314-613-1880.

Steamers School Day Game:

The Steamers have teamed with many local youth organizations such as DARE and Tobacco Free Missouri to bring local schools the semi-annual SCHOOL DAY GAME. Thursday, March 3rd, the Steamers will battle the Milwaukee Wave at a special 11:00 am start at Savvis Center.

Local schools are invited to attend the game at 10:00 am and visit educational booths in the concourse. Student tickets are $8.00. If your school is interested, please call Bob Neu at 314-613-1883.
