Holiday Favorites: With the holiday season in full swing, some Storm players took the time to talk about what they enjoy most about the holidays. Here is what a few of them had to say:

Storm forward Byron Alvarez: "I enjoy being with my family and friends and eating the traditional foods of Mexico. I also enjoy attending midnight mass with my family."

Storm captain Ted Chronopoulos: "I mostly enjoy just spending time with my wife over the holidays. Since she still lives in California, it is tough to see each so when the holidays come around, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with her."

Storm Goalkeeper Jeff Richie: "Since I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and do not get to see my family all that often, I always enjoy the chance to go back home and spend time with them during the holidays. It is always good to go back home and spend quality time with everyone."

Storm Goalkeeper Danny Waltman: "What I enjoy most about the holidays is the food. I love going to all of the Christmas parties and eating all of the good food. Just being around family and friends...good company, that's what it's all about."

Mo' Goals for Morad: Chicago Storm forward Awadalla Morad kept up his stellar play this past weekend against the Kansas City Comets. So far this season, Morad has tallied seven goals and dished out four assists for 11 total points after only playing six professional games for the Storm. Morad scored a team record four goals in a 9-8 OT loss to Kansas City on Saturday afternoon to increase his season output to 11 in eight games. "Awad" made his first appearance in a Storm uniform against the Milwaukee Wave on November 26 after missing the first 6 games of the season due to a groin injury. After making a full recovery, the West Bank, Palestine native made a huge impact with two goals and one assist in a thrilling 8-7 victory over division rival Milwaukee at the UIC Pavilion. Morad, who now lives in Burbank, Illinois then proceeded to record one goal and two assists in an 8-7 loss against the St. Louis Steamers at the Savvis Center two days later.
