FORCE STREAKS:
Midfielder Robbie Aristodemo has appeared in 101 straight games. Aristodemo appeared in 72 straight games for the San Diego Sockers. Forward Aaron Susi has recorded at least a point in every game that he has played in since being acquired by the Force. Susi made his Force debut on February 19th. Aaron has appeared in seven games and has tallied seven goals and added two assists for nine points.
FORCE SWEEPS AWARDS:
Cleveland Force forward and team captain John Ball, goalkeeper Jim Larkin and defender Genoni Martinez all were selected as the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Players of the Week for their respective positions for the seven-day period ending March 20. This marked the first time this season that Cleveland has swept all three Player of the Week categories. The three weekly honors now gives the Force nine Player of the Week selections.
FORCE KEEPS ROLLING:
Cleveland is on a season-high five game winning streak which has propelled themselves into the third spot in the MISL Standings and a half game out of second place. The five game winning streak is the team's longest since winning six in a row during the 1999-2000 during the month of March. In addition, the Force has already amassed more victories than all of the 2003-04 season with nine game remaining.
MILESTONE MANIA:
Three Cleveland Force players achieved milestones last weekend and three more on knocking on the door step to achieving even more. Forward and team captain John Ball started the milestone streak this weekend on his first of three points on Saturday. The first point marked his 450th career point. Forward Sipho Sibiya kept the records falling on his assist during Sunday's contest which also gave him 450 career points. Defender Josh Timbers closed out the milestone chase on Sunday when he saved a potential goal with his head to record his 200th career block. Josh suffered a concussion on the block and left the game.
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IN FULL SWING:
Cleveland Force 2005 Summer Camps are now in full swing with seven locations in the Greater Cleveland area already solidified. Please visit the Force Website Summer Camp Section to find a summer camp location near you. Tuition for the summer camps is $155 for a full day session that runs from 9-3 and $115 for a half-day session that runs from 9-12. Each camper will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt, a goodie bag and one ticket to Camper Reunion Night at a Force game during the 2005-06 season. Locations will be added weekly so register, as space is limited.
