PORTLAND, February 16, 2009 - The Portland LumberJax may be in the middle of their second consecutive bye week, but Assistant Coach and Community Relations and Creative Design Director Dallas Eliuk has still scheduled two days with the ever popular Pacific Power School Program.
On Tuesday, February 17th, defensemen David Morgan and Luke Forget and forward Peter Morgan will be at St. Clare School from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. As part of Pacific Power's School Program, the organization makes countless visits to local Oregon schools. The school program promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle, provides lacrosse instruction, offers well-liked demonstrations and the viewing of the hit Jax School Program DVD.
The week concludes on Thursday, February 19th as members of the team will be at Eastwood Elementary School from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
The Jax continue their homestand on Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. against the Philadelphia Wings.
