Marietta Storm News Release
The Marietta Storm blew out the Anderson Heat flame with a breathtaking display of NBA-like skills. The Storm out-scored the Heat in three of the four periods. At the end of the third period Marietta led by 35 points. Leading the entire game, it was easy breezing for the Storm.
Jamario Moon led the Storm with 28 points. Other double digit scorers were: Daryl MaJic Dorsey-23 pts., Anthony Wilkins-20 pts., Sylvester (Sly) Morgan-16pts., Alexis (Bo) McMillan-10 pts. Darius Matter led in game rebounds with 18 total rebounds followed closely by Derrick Russell with 13.
With the second win of the season, Marietta is undefeated in their Eastern Conference. Coach Garrett and staff were confident going into this game. The players were well rested and eager to play. Garrett stated "that the players are gelling well and adjusting to the new offensive changes".
The Storm takes on the Cleveland Magic in Tennessee Sunday May 7, 2006 in Cleveland.
