Hudson Valley Renegades News Release

The No. 39 prospect in all of baseball, OF, Jasson Domínguez set to debut in the Hudson valley for the Renegades this week. Dominguez is ranked as the No. 3 Yankees prospect and the No. 39 prospect in all of baseball by MLB.com.

"Jasson is a great kid who loves playing the game and is a joy to be around," said Renegades manager Tyson Blaser. "I got to work with him all last year in the FCL and he comes ready to play every single day. You can obviously see his raw tools and his talent on display every single night. We are really excited to have him."

Domínguez, 19, hit .266/.374/.440 in 75 games with Single-A Tampa to start the season. He was selected to participate in the Sirius/XM All-Star Futures Game at Dodger Stadium on July 16. In that game he hit a towering, game-tying, two-run home run in what would eventually help lead to a 6-4 victory for the American League over the National League. Making his debut for the Renegades against the Wilmington Blue Rocks this past weekend, Dominguez was able to reach base safely in all three games and adding yet another highlight reel home run.

A native of the Esperanza, Dominican Republic, Domínguez was signed by the Yankees on July 2, 2019 for a franchise record $5.1 million bonus.

The Renegades return home from Wilmington to face the Brooklyn Cyclones for a six-game set at Dutchess Stadium on Tuesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 31.

Single-game tickets are available online or by calling the Renegades Ticket Office at 845-838-0094.
