The Junior Express Completes Week Three of Competition

The Junior Express little league teams are off to a great start. The Junior Express is made up of two divisions, the Intense Division is comprised of fourth and fifth grade students and the United Division is made up of second and third grade students.

Currently in the Intense Division the Wyomissing Mavericks are undefeated (3-0). The other three teams, the Eastside Saints, the Lebanon Pain Train and the Daniel Boone Blazers are all sitting at 1-2 records.

In the United Division the Delaware County Wildcats are undefeated (3-0), while the Lebanon Pain Train is 2-1, the Berks . Fire .Water Restorations, Inc. (BFW) is 1-2 and the Eastside Saints is 0-3.

This past weekend in the Intense Division the Saints defeated the Pain Train, 26-12, and the Mavericks claimed victory over the Blazers, 28-12.

In the United Division the Pain Train defeated the Saints 40-13, while the Cats came out on top against BFW 15-6.

The Junior Express will be back in action on Apr. 28 with the first game starting at 9 a.m. between the Saints and Berks .Fire . Water Restorations, Inc. teams on the Savage 61 Dodge Field at the Sovereign Center prior the Reading Express' game at 7 p.m. against Cedar Rapids Titans.
