Real Salt Lake News Release
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Thursday, March 19, 2009) - KALL 700 Sports today announced the station once again holds exclusive rights for "The Jim Rome Show," the radio home of one of today's most popular sports radio powerhouse personalities, Jim Rome. Airing daily on over 200 stations and heard by more than two million listeners, "The Jim Rome Show," a.k.a. "The Jungle," is frequently recognized for going beyond the scoreboard with athletes, implementing quick wit and a no holds barred attitude. KALL 700 Sports will continue to air "The Jim Rome Show" every weekday during the show's live 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. MT time slot.
Rome is no stranger to large audiences, with previous experience as host of "The Last Word with Jim Rome" on Fox Sports Net and ESPN2's "Talk2." In addition to his daily radio program, Rome hosts "Jim Rome Is Burning," a daily, provocative sports talk show airing at 2:30 pm MST on ESPN.
The partnership between KALL 700 Sports and Premiere Radio Network once again positions KALL as the midday leader in Utah sports radio. KALL is home to University of Utah athletics and Real Salt Lake soccer, and also features top sports radio programming and personalities, including Dan Patrick, Chris Meyers and Bill & Spence.
