Jim Belushi to attend Season Kickoff Luncheon

Jim Belushi-venerable comedian and television, film and music star-will be a special guest at the 2009 Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon on March 24, 2009 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel. The annual event introduces Fire players to fans for the upcoming MLS season and serves as a fundraiser for the club's Chicago Fire Foundation. This memorable event includes a reception, lunch and silent auction, which consists of Fire and other sports memorabilia, gift certificates and much more. Tickets for the 2009 Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon are $65, with tables of 10 priced at $600, with all proceeds benefiting the Chicago Fire Foundation.

MLS Sueño

Think you've got what it takes to play on the Fire? Sueño MLS, the nationally-televised search for the best undiscovered young soccer talent in the country, is coming to Chicago! The Chicago Fire, along with D.C. United and the Los Angeles Galaxy will each host tryouts, with four local winners from each city moving on to an exciting four-day "Final Event" in Los Angeles. The Chicago tryout will take place on Saturday, April 4, with 24 players progressing to the final on April 5, and four local winners selected.

First Kick viewing party

The 2009 season is finally here! Come help us celebrate the Fire's First Kick at Sully's House (1501 N. Dayton), one of our newest Official Fire Pubs, and the newest stop on the Windy City Wanderers gameday bus route! Other than the usual drink specials, free food, free raffle (can you say 2009 gear?) and plenty of new 2009 giveaways, Sully's House will also be featuring the Coors Light Girls! They'll be cheering on the Fire, raffling off 2009 jerseys and more! Join the rest of the Chicago-area Fire fans and let's get the 2009 season started!
