There's no better place to chill out this winter than with the Toledo Walleye! The action will be hot on and off the ice- with sizzling promotions, great giveaways and the chance to hang out with your favorite hockey players.
It's time for T-Town Hockey and all that goes with it!
Opening Night :
Let's "ÃËHammer the Nailers'- at Opening Night, October 26. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m., but you'll want to arrive early for Finfest-- the Coolest Party of the Season. This indoor-outdoor event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. in The Aquarium. Anyone with an opening night ticket is invited to come. Live entertainment, drink specials and free giveaways start the night. And it wouldn't be Opening Night without GIVEAWAYS! The first 4,000 fans will get a blue or gold glow wand and we're asking them to help light up the arena during the pregame ceremony. After the game, fans can grab a Walleye magnet schedule on their way out, but don't leave yet. Fans will want to join the Walleye players after the game in the Lighthouse Lounge for the Opening Night Postgame Party! The event is free and open to anyone with a ticket!
Theme Nights/Special Events & Appearances/Giveaways
Grab your costumes and get ready to join the fun! This season the Walleye have outstanding themed nights planned to entertain you for the entire season! Many nights include special videos, music, food, fanwear, and on-ice contests geared towards that theme. And who doesn't like FREE stuff!! This season fans have the chance to go home with a variety of interesting giveaways-everything from glow wands to bobbleheads and the ever popular turkey hats!
Recognition Night
Throughout the season the Toledo Walleye recognize different groups and organizations for their dedication and passion.

Postgame Party with the Players
Fans can come meet the Walleye players after the game in the Lighthouse Lounge after EVERY Friday night home game. It's FREE and open to anyone with a game ticket. Bring the Walleye Journal with you for the players to sign.

Open Skate with the Walleye
After every Sunday game, fans can bring their skates along and immediately following the game lace up their boots and hit the ice. Once a month the Walleye team with join the fans.

o It's all about fun and learning during our SCHOOL APPRECIATION DAY. All high school, junior high and elementary students are invited. Transportation assistance funds are available. Any school that purchases tickets is entered to win a $1,000 grant for their school. For more information go to www.toledowalleye/schooldays .

o The force is coming to the Huntington Center during the Toledo Walleye Episode V: "A New Hope Star Wars Night! The night includes special appearances by 501st Legion, specialty food items including- Boba Fett-uccini, Tie Fighter Chicken and Jedi Juice. Fans are encouraged to come in their best Star Wars costumes. And for the first time in Walleye history, both teams will wear special themed jerseys when they take the ice. The Walleye will wear X-Wing Pilot themed jerseys and the Kalamazoo Wings will go on the attack in Darth Vader themed jerseys. Both team game worn "Star Wars" jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game. Proceeds from the jerseys will benefit Multiple Sclerosis and The Wounded Warrior Project.

o It's always intense when the Toledo Police and Fire departments hit the ice for the annual "Battle of the Badges" hockey game! T.P.D. has edged out T.F.D. both years so the fire department is hungry for a win! The puck drops for third annual "Battle of the Badges" hockey game at 4 p.m. followed by the Walleye game at 7:15 p.m. Fans can purchase a special $13 ticket that is good for both games with a portion of that ticket benefitting Police and Fire department charities.
o One of our favorite promotions is back again this year-the Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are asked to bring a teddy bear (or they can get one in the Swamp Shop) to toss on the ice after the Walleye score their first goal! All teddy bears will be donated to local charities.

o Gobble Gobble- just in time for Thanksgiving, it's the third annual Turkey Hat Drop! At the end of the first period, thousands of turkey hats will drop from the ceiling- it's quite the sight!
- November 29
o Get ready for a busy night at the Huntington Center! The first 2,000 fans will be greeted by a one-of-a-kind Cody Lampl Bobblehead (including the big beard and lamp). And the day after Thanksgiving is always Black Friday and we'll be celebrating it at the Walleye with exclusive deals available only to fans attending the game.
o Hockey & Hops Beer Tasting Event- A ticket includes the gourmet beer sampling, an all-you-can eat buffet, a souvenir gift, and a Walleye ticket. Tickets to this event go fast, for more information go to www.toledowalleye.com

o National Chocolate Covered Anything Day! Of course the Walleye have to celebrate this day! Fans can enjoy special chocolate promotions and contests plus sample our famous "Fudge Puppies" and the all NEW BACANANA- a delicious CHOCOLATE and BACON COVERED BANANA. (You know there will be a line for that one and it will be worth the wait!)

o Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus - - right down to Huntington Center! He's making a special stop to meet all the kids. He's be located near Section 108 on the main concourse throughout both games
- December 14
o It's Sing for Santa Night. The Walleye are inviting students from area elementary schools to form one mass choir to perform the National Anthem. Then during the first intermission they will sing holiday songs for the crowd.
o We're c alling all Scouts for the Toledo Walleye Scout Jamboree! Scouts will enjoy on-ice experiences, dinner, an action-packed Toledo Walleye game, and opportunities to earn merit badges.
o Stick around after the game for our annual Pictures with the Players. The team will be available for pictures after the game, so don't forget the camera.

o Whatever you do, DON'T THROW AWAY THAT UGLY SWEATER, because it's UGLY SWEATER NIGHT at the Huntington Center. Don't worry, you won't be alone the Walleye players will take to the ice wearing Ugly Sweater Jerseys. Fans will have a chance to bid on the game-worn jerseys during a live auction held in the Goal Zone immediately after the game. Proceeds from the jersey benefit a local charity.

o The holidays can be stressful; the Toledo Walleye want to help you relieve some of that stress at Anger Management Night. Fans can participate in fun promotions-both on and off the ice.
o The first 2,000 fans will receive a Nick Vitucci Anger Management Bobblehead.

o It's giveaway night at the Walleye! Fans will take home a 12-month calendar featuring their Toledo Walleye and Toledo Mud Hens.
- January 24
o January is chilly in Toledo and the Walleye want to help keep you warm. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will go home with a Toledo Walleye Scarf!
- January 25 & 26
o Youth Hockey Jamboree brings 24 mini-mite and mite teams together to promote the American Development Model's Red, White and Blue hockey initiative for 8-and-under players. For more information visit www.toledowalleye.com.

o Spike and CatTrick are inviting all his friends to Mascot Mania Night. Doors open at 4:00 p.m.

o Do you like a good mystery? The popular Mystery Puck Sale is back. Fans are guaranteed an autographed puck by a current Walleye or NHL player! Doors open at 6 p.m. Early arrival is encouraged. Mystery puck has sold out in less than an hour.

o It won't be a "hard day's night" at the Huntington Center when the Walleye celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show during Beatles Night. Special music and food are just some of the fun attractions of the night.

o Once just isn't enough, the Walleye are calling all scouts for a second time to the Postgame Boy Scout Sleepover. Scouts get to have an autograph session with the players, test their hockey skills on the ice, enjoy a game, and try to earn merit badges. For more information go to www.toledowalleye.com/scouts

o The Walleye honor Toledo's rich hockey history during Hockey Heritage Weekend. The team will take to the ice wearing special replica Toledo Storm jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the game.
- February 22
o Hockey Heritage Weekend continues with the second annual Toledo Alumni Hockey game. The throwback game will be played at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Walleye game. Fans can meet their favorite alumni during intermission of the Walleye game. A special double-header ticket will be available for fans.

o Everything is coming up Pink in the Rink when the first 2,000 fans through the doors receive pink glow wands.
- March 2
o Pink weekend continues and it's giveaway weekend. Tonight fans get Pink Rally Towels to the first 2,000 fans.
- March 15 & 16
o This weekend is all about GREEN! We're celebrating St. CatTrick's Day with green ice, green beer and green WALLEYE WEAR! The team will don special green themed jerseys which will be auctioned off immediately following the game with proceeds benefitting local charities.

o Holy Toledo it's a doubleheader- Two Games, Two Locations, Same Night! Fans can catch both the Hens and Walleye in action on the same day. The Toledo Mud Hens open the 2014 season at 4 p.m. against the Louisville Bats; then walk a block to the Huntington Center and watch the Walleye speed up the action as they take on the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:15 p.m.
- April 11
o Back by popular demand-Superhero Night! The bad guys won't stand a chance on this night when heroes of all ages pack the Huntington Center. Fans are invited to dress in their favorite superhero costume for a chance to win great prizes!
