The time is now! Tornado host 1st place Bandits for three this weekend It is put up or shut up time for the Texas Tornado. After running off an eight-game winning streak in December, the Tornado have only managed splits the last three series, including a split last weekend against the Santa Fe Roadrunners. Now, opportunity will present itself this weekend, as the Tornado prepare to host the division-leading St. Louis Bandits for three games at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco on Thursday, January 18th - Friday, January 19th - and Saturday, January 20th. Face-off times all nights is 7:30pm. Tickets for the series are available by stopping by or calling the Tornado office at 972-335-9800, or fans can Buy Tickets Now Online! The Bandits have lost one game in regulation all year on the road, and the last time they visited the Deja Blue Arena back on November 10th and 11th, they came away with a weekend sweep over the Tornado. Thursday night is Faith and Family Night with special group discounts for churches and youth groups. Friday night is Frisco Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Tornado Replica Championship Banner Night. The first 1,500 fans will receive a FREE Texas Tornado mini-replica banner for the 2005-06 NAHL Robertson Cup National Championship season! Player banners auction going on right now! The 2006-07 Texas Tornado Player Banners are currently available on online auction on www.ebay.com now through Monday January 22, 2007. These are Players Banners that hang in the Deja Blue Arena during each Texas Tornado Home Game. Each banner is double-sided and has the player name and number on the front side. The Banners contain 3 different logos for each of the 3 consecutive years the Texas Tornado have won the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship. All the Banners will be autographed by each player before the season is over. The proceeds from this auction will be used to pay for the expenses in the banner materials for the 2006-07, 2007-08 Seasons, and to help support the Texas Tornado during the 2007-08 Season. Also included in the auction are 2 special banners that commemorate the Back to Back to Back Championships, and the 4-Times the Texas Tornado have won the Robertson Cup. The banners can be found listed under "Texas Tornado Player Banner". All banners will be shipped to the winning bidders after the last Texas Tornado Home Game at the Deja Blue Arena, which would include any games in the playoffs.
