Texas Stars Announce Six Guaranteed Home Dates for 2011-12

Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars announced on Wednesday six guaranteed home dates for the upcoming 2011-12 season.

Opening Night for the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center will be on Sunday, October 9th. In order to secure seats for Opening Night, as well as the five other promotional nights, fans are encouraged to purchase full season ticket plans or partial season ticket plans by calling 512-GO-STARS.

Along with Opening Night, the Stars also announced five additional guaranteed dates for their third season in the American Hockey League. The dates include the team's second annual "Pink in the Rink" night on October 22nd. The team will wear "Pink in the Rink" themed jerseys to promote breast cancer awareness. For the third straight season, the Stars will host Military Appreciation Night. The team will don "Stars and Stripes" jerseys on November 12th. For the second straight year, "Sing for Santa" weekend returns on December 9th and 10th.

Six Guaranteed Home Dates for the Texas Stars in 2011-12:

Sunday, October 9th - Opening Night

Saturday, October 22nd - Pink in the Rink - (Themed Jersey)

Saturday, November 12th - Military Appreciation Night - (Stars and Stripes Themed Jersey)

Friday, December 9th - Sing for Santa

Saturday, December 10th - Sing for Santa

Saturday, January 7th

Opponents and start times for these games will be announced when the complete 2011-12 American Hockey League schedule is released later this summer. All promotions are subject to change.
