PLANO, TX - The Texas Revolution announced today the re-signing of one of the Indoor Football League's best players, Frankie Solomon, Jr. Solomon rejoins the team following a 2013 season that saw him earn 1st Team All-IFL on Defense and 2nd Team All-IFL on Special Teams as a kick returner.

Over the course of the 2013 season Solomon totaled 1,289 All Purpose Yards, good for 4th in the IFL, 98 tackles (3rd in the IFL) and six interceptions (4th in the IFL) with three interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Solomon is a three year veteran of the IFL, and in 2012 while with the Allen Wranglers, was a member of the 1st Team All-IFL on defense after totaling 115 tackles (4th in the league) and seven interceptions (5th most in the league).

"Frankie is one of the most dominant players in the IFL, and was a no-brainer for us to bring back for the 2014 season," said Revolution Head Coach Chris Williams. "He provides the type of veteran leadership that is necessary when building a championship team."

The Revolution also announced that they had signed QB Jimmy Coy from St. Xavier University near Chicago, IL. Coy put up great numbers during his senior season at the school, leading to him signing with the Calgary Stampede of the CFL prior to joining the Revolution.
