Texas Pirates Hold Their Final Tryout

Houston, TX - Saturday February 28, 2009. The Texas Pirates will hold its final tryout on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 6 PM at Kicks Indoor Sports Complex.
The Pirates currently have over 35 letters of intent and will complete their roster after this final tryout. DeJaun Henry, Chief Executive Officer, noted that "though we were able to acquire quite a few prospects from the last three tryouts, we still have a few skilled positions that we need to look at. Therefore, we will be hosting another tryout to look at more linemen and other skilled positions. Don't get me wrong, we are very impressed with what we've seen already."
The Texas Pirates will begin its training camp on March 22nd . Their first game will be Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Kicks against the Houma Conquerors.
