Nine (9) Tycoons finish in double figures in a game that was decided before the half. Texas led by as many as 40 points in the second quarter thanks to contributions by the entire line-up. Mario Kinsey (6'2''-G-82, college: Texas Coll. ) was the leading scorer for Texas with 27 points and 11 assists.

Oneal Mims (6'10''-F-82, college: Angelo St.) had 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Josh Gonner (6'2''-G-82, college: S.Carolina) had 17, Jerome Rogers (5'10''-G-81, college: N.Texas) 17, Jai Pradia (6'6''-F-79, agency: ND Corner Sports, college: Pittsburg St.) 15/11 and 6 blocks, Chris Williams (6'8''-F-81, college: Tarleton St.) 14/8, Benny West (6'3''-G-82, agency: ProSportsCareers, college: Howard Payne) 13, Brandon Lee (6'3''-G, agency: ProSportsCareers, college: Tarleton St.) 12, Tyrone Rayson (6'6''-F-80, college: East Central ) 11/8.

Texas improved to 21-5 on the season in dominant fashion, defeating Houston in Houston by 41. Texas(21-5) led by Head Coach Chris Terrell , winners of 13 of their last 14 games, are looking to move up in the ABA's Power Rankings where they are currently rated #3 in the Nation.
