Texas Brahmas 2009 Training Camp Roster Announced

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (October 6)- The ice at the NYTEX Sports Centre is swarming with skaters in black and white as the Texas Brahmas opened training camp yesterday in North Richland Hills.
Twenty-seven players comprise the list for CHL Champions 2009-2010 roster; among some of the names are CHL Playoff MVP Jason Deitsch, captain Craig Minard, goaltender Brett Jaeger and forward Jordan Cameron. Following a season playing hockey overseas last season, winger Anders Strome returns to the Brahmas for a championship repeat year.
"We have a good group of guys on the ice, so it will be tough next couple of days for (Head Coach) Dan and I as we assemble a Brahmas team that will be able to bring another successful season to the Mid-Cities," said Brahmas Assistant Coach Ron Vogel.
The Brahmas play host to the Allen Americans Saturday, October 10 at the NYTEX Sports Centre (8851 Ice House Drive, North Richland Hills TX 76180). The puck will drop at 7:05 PM.
Tickets for the preseason game are still available, but are on a first come, first serve basis. All seats are $10 and can be purchased at the Brahmas Box Office, called in at (817) 336-4423 or at www.brahmas.com up until game time.
