(Amarillo, Tx)The Amarillo Wranglers are hosting their first 'Weekend of Giving' during their home games this Saturday and Sunday. The Wranglers encourage fans to bring toy donations to throw on the ice Saturday night for the annual teddybear toss. Sunday fans are encouraged to bring sock and underwear donations to benefit those less fortunate this holiday season.
What: "Weekend of Giving" as the Wranglers encourage fans to bring toy donations Saturday night, and sock/underwear donations on Sunday.
When: Saturday Dec. 18 for the 'Teddybear Toss' and Sunday Dec.19 for 'Undie Sunday'
Where: The Budweiser Bullpen at the Amarillo Civic Center.
Who: The Amarillo Wranglers will host the Lone Star Brahmas. The toy donations will be given to CASA and the Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of Amarillo. The sock and underwear donations will be given to 'The Rainbow Room' and 'Guyon Saunders Resource Center'
Why: The Wranglers strive to giveback to the Panhandle community and are excited to partner with charities such as 'Amarillo Area CASA' and 'Guyon Saunders Resource Center' to reach as many people in need this holiday season
