Teddy Bear Toss a Success

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers held their Annual Teddy Bear Toss game Saturday, December 1st, 2018.

Goaltender Mads Sogaard set up Captain James Hamblin to score the goal to send the bears flying on the ice with just over five minutes left to play in the first period.

Altogether 1,990 stuffed animals and 1,080 winter wear items were collected from the ice. These items will be split between three local charities, the Medicine Hat Health Foundation, the Medicine Hat Women's Shelter and the Salvation Army.

The Medicine Hat Tigers would like to thank all fans in attendance who generously participated in this year's Teddy Bear Toss, as well as, the Medicine Hat Peewee Wildcats for helping collect the items from the ice.
