Team Effort Powers Tulsa Past Texas

FRISCO, Texas, February 12, 2013 - Six Tulsa players scored in double digits as the Tulsa 66ers took down the Texas Legends, 123-90, on Tuesday night at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas. Tulsa's 123 points are the most scored by the 66ers since Dec. 14, 2010 (130 vs. Texas).

After falling to Texas on Sunday afternoon, 106-82, Tulsa bounced back and set numerous season highs as a team. The 66ers posted season-best numbers in points scored (123), points in a half (72 in the first half), 3-point field goals made (13), 3-point field goal percentage (56.5 percent), free-throw percentage (92.9 percent), defensive rebounds (40) and assists (31).

All 10 players on Tulsa's roster scored at least two points, led by Rasual Butler with 28 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Andy Rautins went 4-for-6 from 3-point range to help total 22 points with four assists. As a team, the 66ers went 13-for-23 from 3-point land, totaling 11 or more 3-point field goals for the third-consecutive game.

Chris Quinn scored 18 points while distributing 12 assists - the most by a 66er this season. The NBA veteran added six rebounds and a pair of steals.

Dominique Sutton recorded his eighth double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 boards while Rodney Bartholomew and Hollis Thompson scored 14 and 11 points, respectively, off the bench.

The 66ers (16-15) outrebound the Legends (13-19), 48-44, and blocked seven shots. Tulsa went 26-for-28 from the foul line in its best free-throw shooting performance of the year.

Tuesday's game was Tulsa's final contest before the All-Star break. Following a 10-day stretch without a game, the 66ers will face the Sioux Falls Skyforce for a pair of games in South Dakota on Feb. 22 and 23.
