Montreal Juniors News Release
THE TEAM 990 and the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club are proud to renew their exclusive partnership for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.
THE TEAM 990 will be the official Montreal Juniors English Radio broadcaster, allowing Junior hockey fans to track their favorite team, thanks to Elliott Price and Shaun Starr at home and Conor McKenna and Sean Campbell on the road.
"THE TEAM 990 has been hugely supportive since day 1, and it's wonderful to have THE TEAM behind us for another season" said Montreal Juniors Team President Martin Routhier.
Wayne Bews, General Manager of THE TEAM 990 adds "We feel it's our duty to support hockey in Montreal at all levels, and it's a privilege to be partners with the Juniors once again. We look forward to a fantastic season."
More than a hockey team, The Montreal Juniors Hockey Club is committed both on and off the ice. The Club proudly supports the Generations Foundation, a community organization that helps children who suffer from hunger and social problems. They also organize various Community Days, and developed a ''Stay in school/Excel in school'' program that has proven to be a great motivation to young children throughout the community.
During the regular season, THE TEAM 990 will broadcast a majority of the Montreal Juniors' home and away games, and will cover the team's activities.
