Teague Vader Signs with Colts

The Barrie Colts are happy to announce the signing of 2023 fifth-round selection, Teague Vader to an OHL Scholarship and Education Agreement!
The 6.0 and 185lb defenceman from Gowanstown, ON was selected by the Colts with 92nd selection in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Vader, who played his U16 season with the Huron Perth Lakers U16 program registered 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists) in 33 games. During the 2023-24 season, Vader played for the Listowel Cyclones (GOJHL) where he recorded 11 points (2 goals, 9 assists).
"Teague is someone that continues to get better every time you see him play. He took a big step in his development last season playing Jr. B for the Listowel Cyclones. He possesses a strong hockey IQ and is a smooth skating defenceman.
