September 13, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Minot Minotauros News Release
As the season approaches we will be giving you a chance to meet the new Tauros as well as learn a little more about the returning players by asking them 20 questions. Â We will be going in number order; Yesterday we heard from Jake Dittel and today we hear from Luke Davison. Come back tomorrow to hear from Cam McClure. Â For links to all of the past Tauros 20 Questions look to the bottom of this page.
Luke Davison enters his second season with the Tauros.  After spending most of last season on the third defensive pairing Davison looks to take on a larger roll this year. Davison's +11 rating tied him with Jon Lizotte for the team lead among defensemen who finished the year with the team. He finished the year with 12 points on two goals and 10 assists. At 6'0" 180 lbs., Davison brings decent size to the Tauros blue line. As a 1996 birth year player he has two seasons of eligibility remaining. A good passer, Davison can start the Tauros transition game, which was dominant at time last season. With a year of experience Davison should be ready for a top four role this season.Â
From the Coach's Office: Luke's role should increase now that he brings experience. He's shown veteran leadership so far through the exhibition games, stepping up and protecting teammates. He's a very skilled defenseman, who we will depend on to make the jump typical of a second year player. - Head Coach Marty Murray
