
Tarantulas team up with United Way of Topeka

[Topeka, KS.] - The Topeka Tarantulas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that they have teamed up with the United Way of Topeka to help give back to the community.
To help raise money for the United Way, the Tarantulas will title the Saturday, February 5th game against the Fort Worth Brahmas as "United Way of Topeka Night". Part of the proceeds for that night will be donated to the United Way.
Ticket prices are $11 for lower level and $8 for upper level, with part of the proceeds being donated to the United Way. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, February 4th at Noon. Tickets for the "United Way of Topeka Night" can only be purchased through the Tarantulas office.
The Topeka Tarantulas have also worked with several United Way partners over the course of the 2004-2005 season including:

· The Boys and Girls Clubs of Topeka
· Jayhawk Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America
· CASA of Shawnee County, Inc.
· Family Service and Guidance Center
· Girl Scouts of Kaw Valley Council, Inc.
· Kansas Children's Service League
· Salvation Army
· Y.M.C.A.
