Tampa Bay's Samuels Earns AFL All-Ironman Honors

TAMPA BAY - The Arena Football League has announced that wide receiver/linebacker Lawrence Samuels has earned 2007 All-Ironman honors. This is the second time he received this honor and the first Storm player to do so since 2004.

Samuels, 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, recorded 38 tackles, three interceptions, two fumbles recoveries and forced one fumble this season. Offensively he led the team with 122 receptions and finished the season with 1143 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Samuels earned Ironman of the Week in Week 12 after accumulating four tackles and interception on defense and was named to the 2007 AFL All-Arena Second-Team at the Jack Linebacker position. He last garnered All-Ironman honors during the 2003 championship season.
