
Talons JLB Ransom Voted Week 9 AFL MVP

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Talons JLB Jamar Ransom has been named the Week 9 AFL MVP, as voted on by Arena Football League fans.
Ransom (6-0, 230, Oklahoma State) set a single-game Talons record with three interceptions in San Antonio's 57-33 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators in Week 9. He returned two of the interceptions for scores. The fourth-year pro also collected 7.5 tackles and two tackles for a loss in the game. Ransom leads the Talons with 39.5 tackles and six interceptions this season.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the award on ArenaFootball.com. Other candidates included New Orleans VooDoo WR Donovan Morgan and Philadelphia Soul DB Rayshaun Kizer .
Ransom and the Talons (4-4) will be back in action on Friday night as they host the Spokane Shock (6-3). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CST.
