TULSA TALONS HEAD COACH AT A GLANCE: Mitch Allner, 28 year-old from Sioux City, Iowa, kicks off the 2007 season as the Tulsa Talons Head Coach. Having been the Tulsa Talons' Offensive Coordinator for the past two seasons, the Talons' Co-Owners, Henry Primeaux and Paul Ross are honored to announce his advancement to Head Coach. Prior to coaching in the af2, Allner served five years in the af2 as a top-ranked player. In five years, Allner played a year with Quad City Steamwheelers and Iowa Barnstormers and three years with the Tulsa Talons. Allner not only created a well-recognized name for himself, but he also set and broke records in the af2. In the Talons' record book, the name "Allner" is frequently seen. Prior to the 2005 season he held 3 records in the 2004 season game highs, six career records as a Talon, four records in a single season and two records in a single game. In the 2005 af2 record book, Allner was the All-Time af2 Leading Scorer, All-Time af2 First Team OS in 2002, Offensive Player of the Year in 2002, Week 6 Offensive Player of the Week for the League in 2002 and the National Conference All-af2 Second Team WR/LB in 2003. As a coach, Allner was the varsity assistant and sophomore head coach for two years at Sioux City North High School. Once in Tulsa, Allner was the varsity receivers coach at Catoosa High School for one year and the varsity receivers coach for two years at Jenks High School. Allner now resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his new bride Mrs. Brandi Allner.

TULSA TALONS ASSISTANT COACH/OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR AT A GLANCE: Craig Strickland, brings years of knowledge and new ideas to the Talons Offensive side of the game. Strickland played three seasons with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and in 2005 was named the af2 Player of the Week six times. Stickland holds records with the Yard Dawgz and the Talons for Most Passes Attempted, Most Passes Completed, Yards Gained, Yards Gained in a Season, Touchdown Career Passes and Most Touchdown Passes in a Game. In 2004 Strickland was named first team All af2 as a Yard Dawg and in 2003 as a Talon was named MVP of the ArenaCup Championship Game where he completed 19 of 28 passes for 254 yards and five touchdowns and ran for two more touchdowns in the game. In 2001, as a Tulsa Talon, Stickland was named af2 Player of the Week six times. Strickland holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas-El Paso and played baseball at Southern Nazarene. In junior college, Strickland claimed All-American status from Butler Community College. Strickland is a high school graduate from Carl Albert in Midwest City, OK, where he lead the Titans to the 1994 class 5-A State Championship title. His performance earned him 5-A State Championship Most Valuable Player honors. Strickland now resides in Tulsa with wife Jae Strickland and daughter Kate.

TULSA TALONS ASSISTANT LINE COACH AT A GLANCE: Marty Robinson joins the Talons for his second season as Assistant Coach. Robinson has coached football and baseball locally in Tulsa for the last fifteen years. Currently, Robinson is the Offensive Line Coach for the State Runners-Up for the Class 5A East Central High School Football Team. He has also coached at several local football camps and clinics in the Tulsa area as well as giving private offensive line lessons. Robinson is a Board member of the Indian Nations Football Conference. As a 1978 alumni of Tulsa Nathan Hale High School, Robinson completed a degree in Business at Mesabi College in Virginia, Minnesota on an ice hockey scholarship. Robinson now resides in Broken Arrow, Okla. with his wife, Kay, and three children, Matt, Lauren and Brady.
