T.G.I. Friday's, Lodge Host Mallards Playoff Watch Parties Friday and Saturday

MOLINE, Ill. (April 2, 2014) - The Quad City Mallards have teamed with T.G.I. Friday's in Moline and the Lodge in Bettendorf to host watch parties for the Mallards' first two opening round Central Hockey League playoff games this Friday and Saturday night at 8:05 p.m. on the road against the Rapid City Rush, the Mallards announced today.

Fans are invited to watch all the action of the Mallards' first two postseason tilts in the company of their fellow Mallards supporters at either watch party location. T.G.I. Friday's is located at 1425 River Drive in Moline, adjacent to the iWireless Center. Fans who prefer to watch the Mallards in Iowa can enjoy all of this weekend's playoff action in the lounge of the Lodge Hotel and Conference Center, which is located at 900 Spruce Hills Drive in Bettendorf.

Mallards forward Gabriel Levesque, who is currently out of the lineup due to injury, will join fans T.G.I. Friday's Friday evening and at the Lodge Saturday night. T.G.I. Friday's will offer half price appetizers to Mallards fans during this weekend's games. Fans who flock to the Lodge can join the watch parties for just a $3 cover charge and enjoy $1.50 drafts and hot dogs.

After beginning their best-of-seven battle with the Rush on the road, the Mallards will return home for game three on Wednesday, April 9 at 7:05 p.m. and game four on Friday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m. If a fifth game is necessary, it will be played on Saturday night April 12 at 7:05 p.m. at the iWireless Center. Should a sixth game be required, the series will shift back to Rapid City on Tuesday, April 15. If the series goes to a seventh game, the Rush would host the deciding contest on Wednesday, April 16.

Tickets for Mallards home playoff games can be purchased in person at the iWireless Center box office, online at ticketmaster.com, at Ticketmaster outlets or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000 . The ticket office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
