(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, January 18 the Peterborough Petes hosted the Owen Sound Attack at the PMC for the only time this season. The Attack won the game by a score of 4-1.
Newly acquired Petes, Nico Addy and Martin Matejicek both faced their former team for the first time in the game, while defenceman Grayden Strohack made his Petes debut. Peterborough also welcomed 2023 OHL Champions Konnor Smith and Sam McCue back to the PMC, after they were traded to the Attack on January 2, 2024.
Liam Sztuska led the way for the Petes, stopping 45/48 in the loss. Chase Lefebvre scored the lone Peterborough goal, while Ryder McIntyre and Grayden Strohack picked up an assist. Strohack's assist on the goal was his first point as a Pete.

The Petes are back in action on Friday, January 19 when they travel to Oshawa to take on the rival Oshawa Generals. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. at the Tribute Communities Centre. Fans can catch the game at the official Road Game Watch Party at Shoeless Joe's Peterborough. The game will also be broadcasted on YourTV Peterborough and Freq 90.5.
