Syracuse Silver Knights Sign Doug Miller and Andrew Coughlin

SYRACUSE, New York - Tommy Tanner added more local players for the roster for more depth before getting ready for the second half of the season. On Wednesday morning the Silver Knights were able to add Doug Miller and Andrew Coughlin to the active roster.
Doug Miller, the former Rochester Lancer legend, and one of Tommy Tanner's best friends joins the Silver Knights for the second half of the season. The player/coach of the Lancers has amassed 77 goals and 35 assists with his 3 seasons as a Lancer. Doug Miller also played several season along-side Tommy Tanner as part of the Rochester Rhinos. Together they were part of the only USL team to win the Open Cup.
"Doug brings a lot of experience, both on and off the field he knows the game inside and out. He is a great guy to have on the field an guide some of the younger players on the field. He will bring a lot to our team and he is excited to get back out there."
Andrew Coughlin brings more local flair to the Silver Knights roster. Coughlin, who hails from Baldwinsville has been training with Bryan O'Quinn since the beginning of practices and is ready for the next step to making the roster. Coughlin played goal keeper for the Syracuse Orange from 2011-2013 before transferring to Canisius College where he was the starter for the 2014 and 2015 season. In 39 games played as a Griffin, Coughlin posted a 0.99 GAA and included 12 shutouts.
Both Coughlin and Miller are looking forward to their Silver Knight debuts and playing in front of their local fans.
