Syracuse Crunch News Release

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After being spotted back in the Central New York area, the Syracuse Crunch are addressing rumors of Crunchman's whereabouts this summer.

The club's mascot has allegedly been seen all across the country this summer. Reports claim to have seen the superhero out West working out on Muscle Beach in Venice, California, while other sources have confirmed Crunchman has been in talks with prominent plastic surgeons and cosmetic specialists in Beverly Hills.

International reports indicate Crunchman may have spent time in Rio during the Olympics and suggest the mascot exercised with various sports trainers.

While the team is unable to confirm contradicting claims, Crunchman is scheduled to report to the War Memorial Arena later today to begin training for the 2016-17 season.

The Syracuse Crunch will hold their 23rd home opener on Oct. 15. Single game and season tickets for the 2016-17 season are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch office located in the War Memorial Arena at 800 S. State St. in Syracuse or by calling the office at 315-473-4444.
